TAMS Project Execution Timeline

This timeline shows the progression of the TAMS project.

Executive Business Case (EBC) Approval (Dec 2019): The EBC for the modernization effort was approved during December 2019 by the FAS Commissioner for the TAMS modernization for $8.5M

Project Kick-off (June 2019): The project kicked off in early June 2019 with GSA-IT serving as the project lead, managing the investment and contract oversight of modernized requirements.

Development (June 2019 – September 2020): T&T engaged in daily SCRUMs and weekly project status meetings with GSA-IT and the contractor (Spatial Front Inc.). Based on the project road map the project was shown as being on track. TAMS Governance Council conducted meetings on a bi-weekly basis to ensure the project's smooth progression.

Go-Live in Production (September 2020): The TAMS application went live into Production accounting for a total cost of approximately $3.8M. The legacy TARPS application was decommissioned following the TAMS go-live.
